Welcome to Tree Hill –a mixed-use community fully approved by Henrico County in 2007 that is finally coming to life. Located on the Tree Hill property off Route 5 in eastern Henrico, this community blends style and function along with sustainable development principles while offering beautiful views of the James River and downtown Richmond.

In addition to a variety of residential options, Tree Hill will include entertainment, dining, retail and commercial office space intertwined with outdoor parks, green space and public access to the James River. This dynamic, mixed-use space will provide individuals and families in eastern Henrico with opportunities to live, work, gather and enjoy everything the community has to offer – all while paying homage to the property’s historical significance in Virginia.
Project Path
The vision for the Tree Hill development stems back to 2007 when county officials voted to approve zoning the property for a mix of residential and commercial use. This project had the support of groups like the Varina Beautification Committee and Virginia Department of Historic Resources.
